The Cascada was in the garage so it wasn't getting direct sun heat. AAA guy put the charger on and it started but he indicated that it wouldn't start if I shut off the engine so I called the dealer and took it in. Hopefully it's nothing major and I should get it back tomorrow. Only 1100 miles on it. I'll report back when I find out what the problem was.
Hope my 2017 Cascada doesn't have this problem, I just bought it 10 days ago. I don't drive a lot. I drove my Thunderbird 13 years, had 40,XXX miles when I traded it.

I just had my THIRD battery installed in my 2016 Cascada--------that's 3 batteries in a year and a half since I got the car-------I heard the technicians mentioning something about this being a new kind of battery. I think I'd prefer the old kind.

I picked up my 2017 Cascada two weeks ago (now has 700 miles on it) and it sat over this past weekend and went to use it this morning and the battery was dead. After reading previous posts by Mesaguy, I mentioned the taillight replacement to the dealership but they said they never heard of any bulletins and ran the usual tests. Everything came back without a problem. I will return to the dealership and show the posting with the bulletin. We are snowbirds and don't need to come home in the spring to another dead battery.

I have my "first problem" with my 2017. The exterior temp has been stuck on 65 for a couple of days, it's actually over 80 outside.
