I just recently completed a 3424 mile round trip from Northern Virginia to Rapid City, South Dakota. I survived heavy blinding rain in the Midwest, 29 degrees and snow in South Dakota, and a slick road in the Badlands. I discovered that 20 inch low profile tires don't handle slushy snow very well.
I was getting 26 to 28 mpg uphill to SD and 30 to 31 mpg downhill back to VA. My 2016 Cascada was very comfortable and didn't skip a beat. My only complaint was that I only got to drive with the top down for a couple of hours.
I did the same trip five years ago in a 2008 Mazda MX 5 Miata and the Cascada was hands down the comfort and convenience champ.
I look forward to taking the trip again in five years when my mother turns 100 years old.
