Consumer Reports did a quick drive review of the Cascada recently. Among the comments made in the review were criticisms of the Cascada's outdated" interior. Other aspects of the vehicle got similarly archaic characterizations, like the ride quality and the key-turn ignition. Especially at the price of $37,000, Consumer Reports just doesn't think that it is worth it.
The Cascada isn't bad if you just want something to cruise around a Miami retirement center. However, the one tested here is $37,000 and features a 1.6-liter engine matched to a 6-speed gearbox. We're sorry, but that's too much money.
