Gene2016----I did try the keyfob thing with the convertible top one time and it didn't work. It might be due to not trying the remote start feature first. I thought perhaps it would only require car battery power but I'll keep exploring. I drove it for the first time yesterday morning with the top up and, as I mentioned before, visibility isn't great in this mode. As a matter of fact I would recommend if you don't have anyone in the back seat and are driving with the top up to remove the rear head rests as they interfere somewhat with rear view mirror visibility out the rear glass. It sucks that you're going to Florida and your dealer will apparently use your new car for his own purposes. He should pay you for the privilege!
