Hello and Cascada future ?

Hi, just purchased my first Buick and first convertible. I’ve only had my 16 for a week but so far I really like it. I wonder...since GM just sold Opel what the future of the Cascada will be. In speaking with a Buick salesman, he said they will be getting 2018 models, but after that, GM might quit importing the Cascada to the USA. He said, “you may have a collectors car”. I asked him if that happens, will parts be harder to come by and more expensive, but he felt GM has the parts pipeline in place and should not affect my concerns. I’d be interested in hearing what you think.
