Have any of you owners noticed thumping noises in the rear of the car when driving over rough pavement? At first I thought it might be the spare but after tightening it the thumping noise has not gone away. I don't notice it when the top is down so I wonder if it is the lowering/raising mechanisms making the noise.

I had the same issue but then I remembered that I hadn’t yet fed my Gimp that day and it was also pretty hot �� out. So I pulled over at a rest stop to feed/water him. After he stretched his legs a bit I made him climb back in the trunk, and I was on my way with no more issues.
